Raccoon Creek Watershed Association
Our
Mission
The Raccoon Creek Watershed Association is a nonprofit organization
dedicated to:
- Protecting
and conserving the natural resources of the watershed;
- Restoring
water quality, scenic beauty and wildlife habitat through
abandoned mine reclamation;
- Promoting
local interest in, and support for, watershed restoration
and outdoor education activities.
We seek
public support and financial and technical assistance from
federal, state and local sources to assure the watershed's
protection and sustainable development.
Meetings
Please join us at our regular meetings which are held on
the last Tuesday of each month at 5:00 PM at Raccoon Creek
State Park's main office located at 3000 SR 18, Hookstown,
PA. We do not meet in November or December.
